Central Jersey Technical Rescue consists of 24 highly trained volunteers. Members medical qualifications range from CPR to Registered Nurse. CJTRT members have training in the following specialized areas of rescue: High and Steep Angle Rope Rescue, both Urban and Wilderness Search and Rescue and we have 4 canine teams. The team is equipped and able to respond to any type of rescue that requires ropes (i.e.: vertical incidents, slope evacuations, and water incidents.)
Carol Lynes - SARTECH III
Carol Lynes resides in Franklin Township, NJ.
She received her Bachelor Degree in Geology from Rutgers University. She currently works for the United States Environmental Protection Agency as and Environmental Scientist for the Division of Environmental Science and Assessment.
Carol received her NJ State EMT certification in 1991 while volunteering for the Linden Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Having a long time interest in Search and Rescue, she registered for the Introduction to Search and Rescue Course. Shortly after taking this course she joined the Central Jersey Technical Rescue Team and plans to continue her education and training in Search and Rescue.
In her spare time she enjoys fishing, golf and skiing. |
