Kari Phair

  SarTech II

Kari Phair lives in Springfield, New Jersey and  is a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.   She has been a member of the Summit First Aid  Squad since 1992 and is a board member for the area Red Cross.  Kari is EMT, 9-1-1 and EMD Certified.

After taking the course "Introduction to Search and Rescue," to fulfill an EMT continuing education requirement and achieving her Sartech III certification , Kari joined Central Jersey Technical Rescue Team with overwhelming enthusiasm.  She then took  "Fundamentals of Search and Rescue, (FUNSAR)"  and received her Sartech II certification.  

One memorable search was of an elderly man in Princeton with Alzheimer's.  "I particularly felt the need to help in this case because the great outdoors at times can be overwhelming and confuse people quickly.  It is important to get them to safety as soon as possible," says Kari.  The experience that Kari brings to "The Team"  from her EMS training is a huge asset to the community.
