Missing boy spurs
search in Watchung

WATCHUNG -- A 12-year-old boy was found 90 minutes after he was reported
missing Wednesday night.
The boy went missing from a residence near Interstate 78 at 5:30 p.m., Sgt. Jeff
Skibenes said.
A command post for the search was set up on Hillcrest Road. Volunteers from
numerous police, fire and rescue departments participated in the search, along with
the Somerset County K-9 unit and state police helicopters.
The boy was found in good condition near Watchung police headquarters on
Somerset Street, Skibenes said.
